Hello everyone!
This is just a short little update post to keep everyone informed of changes happening to the site.
I'm happy to announce a NEW segment coming to the website! Artist Spotlight is a chance for me to take some lesser known artists and give them some much deserved exposure.
While the potential exposure on this site may not be the greatest, these artists are what creates the backbone of rap and I want to promote as many of these talented individuals as I possibly can. I will try to post segments of this as regularly as I can, but I would also like to focus on my other forms of content as well, so it needs to be balanced.
I am accepting submissions to my Facebook and Twitter pages, so if anybody has any talent to share please feel free to send them my way!
My only "rule" in regards to this is that I will not allow self-submissions. I don't want my page to turn into an advertisement, as this should be a platform to promote individuals who people find truly deserve some exposure.
An upload to Artist Spotlight should be coming tomorrow so look forward to that!
Lastly I want to give a MASSIVE thank you to everyone for the support on my last piece in regard to Silas and Bobby Boy Records.
I never anticipated the story getting as much traffic as it did and I am truly blown away and SO grateful for every one of you that decided to click the link and/or share my story. I hope that story will help spark discussion around that topic again and help push Silas' label to finally make a statement about the situation.
Again, thank you all so much. I love and appreciate all of you and I hope you will continue to support me along this journey as it makes itself into what I hope turns into a career.
